We put these fountains in 2 half whiskey barrels fill with water. They are a wonderful water feature for our deck. They were just what we wanted. Great little pumps.

  3. Ranee Henniger

This little solar fountain puts out a nice spray for the size and price!

  4. Mike Darrah

Wow. The hummingbirds absolutely took to the fountain of water, drinking and bathing. A great addition to our backyard bird sanctuary.

I am in LOVE with this fountain. it adds a water element to my garden and the birds are all jazzed up over it.It comes with different sprayer heads to change out and sits in your birdbath nicely. Being solar powered, you don’t worry about cords, or electricity, if the suns out, or even partly out, it works.Super fun for the price.

Obviously it needs direct sun to work. It is hard to find a spot in my yard that gets consistent sun to keep it pumping. At most it works a couple hours. Not enough to really be useful to keep the water moving. I even moved the bird bath to catch as much sun as I could. Now I have to deal with more mold in the water as the pump doesn’t move water long enough. I did not think through this design. If I buy another I will look for a pump like I had before that has a detached solar panel so I can put the panel in the sun patch on the ground but have the pump in the bird bath more in the shade. This product works you just need to think about where you are going to use it.

So I’ve boughten 3 of these total….and I’ve had 2 for almost a year now…and I leave them out year around…so they’ve been out in scouring hot sunny days and frozen water, and they work…of course when water is frozen, no it doesn’t work, but once it melts, it starts right up again. Keeps water moving so I don’t have to clean bird bath bowls every other day…in fact I didn’t til the end of summer, I just added water if it didn’t rain. They stop running when the sun no longer it’s them, but come daylight again, it’s up and running. The price is right…I will order more “if” they finally die. Side note: I don’t use any of the fountain heads…because the wind usually blows the water over the bowl lip and then i run out of water…so I just use it with any attachment…and it just gurgles up, still looks awesome.

In full sun it spouts 18″ high and even keeps going a little when its cloudy. I’ve already cleaned it out when it stopped and it was easy and went right back to working. Love it. I’m ordering another one.

  23. Judy Kasper

I and the birds love the splashing sound this fountain makes. Especially like the variety of fountain heads.

I LOVE this solar fountain. I have it floating on the water. There are a lot of different fountain sprays you can choose, but I chose this one (shooting high). For the hummingbirds in my yard. I was hoping to catch them flying through the spray on video but you will have to take my word for it because if I was close enough for a video they would not fly by. At any rate I could not be happier. Very reasonable price, arrived well packaged, and early. LOVE IT!! I am going to buy a second one.

  28. Renee B

This little solar fountain fits my birdbath perfectly. Works great. Adds a nice little touch to the garden and the birds like it.

  29. Michael P.

It works as it should. However, I live in an are with frequent wind so when the water goes in the air the wind blows it out of the bath. But the fountain itself is great.

  30. Paul

Great product! Definitely buy this, but be aware on windy days the fountain will blow the water out of the bird bath. Well designed and powerful spray!

  31. AnaCena Zander

Very nice! The birds are a little scared of the spout when this is in direct light so I usually cover part of the solar panels to make the spout less tall

  32. msfitz

This is a delight for the birds and the neighbors as well. It loses its power if it’s not in full sun. However on sunny days it’s great.

  33. Barbara Lenoci

had to return first one, stopped after 12 days. doing the return and replacement was very easy and the replacement has been working with no problems going on six months. happy with it and couldn’t beat the price.

  34. David J.

I wanted the soothing sound of water falling which I get, but I had to place it in a wide (22 in) vessel so that the water didn’t spill out. When the wind blows, though, the water still falls over the edge and is wasted.

  35. Five Grands

Inexpensive but very nice. The birds love it

  36. W Elaine Stubblefield

Birds love it. Hummers stop by for a good cool off. Good idea, seems to work just fine.

  37. Nikki T

This small fountain added a huge impact to my birdbath! I was truly surprised at how high the water flows in such a tiny unit!

  38. Carla Simmonds

There are several spry tips but we ended up not using any of them and love it. Note that it will only spray if the sun hits it directly.

This is a great little fountain. for small bird baths. It would be better if it had battery storage and an easier way to clean the filter. Still a great fountain for the money!

  42. Rosemary Quintero

The solar fountain is so beautiful!I’m in sunny Florida and it gets plenty of solar power!

  43. maureen p.maureen p.

It works!!! I bought it three months ago, and still going strong. The bees love it. As you will notice in the photo, I found an old steel plant pot holder, that works perfect to keep the fountain in place, and not have water spilling out. I don’t use any of the attachments. I love it!!! (I hope it keeps working. Also, don’t let the water dry out, that could blow out the pump.)

  44. Scott

The sellers are fantastic. We love our fountains. We have 3 in our yard. Had a small issue and sellers took care of us immediately.5 stars!

  45. D. Johnson

I purchased another small solar fountain for my bird bath earlier and it never worked very well, This one however has been great and the birds like the running water it creates. Just the right size for a bird bath, too.

  46. Brenda P.

Put a couple in our small pond over six months ago and still working.

  47. Melissa Szczech

Works just as described and I love that it has different attachments for different sprays! Super easy substitute to having plumbing for a fountain!

  48. Leon Adler

I took the standard sprayers off and ran a small hose about 2 feet long to create a 3 tier waterfall effect. As long as it gets light it works perfectly.

  49. E. Rooney

    Calming

  50. Kenneth C. Mccarty

Perfect size and pumps correct water volume

  51. Hannah P.Hannah P.

Works great. Moved it from my pool, to a bird bath. Very versatile.. Needs sun hitting it in order to work though. Soon as it’s in shade or the sun isn’t out, it stops. Even a shadow show it.

  52. Nonni Biscotti

I liked it so much I bought one for a friend

  53. Bobtenn

In a small fountain, it works perfectly

  54. kathy hensel

I love them! I put them in bird baths

  55. Katherine Pierce

Fun to watch in the pool and the bird bath. Be aware that it only operates in the direct sun. It does not store solar power to operate otherwise.Even so, I have given several as gifts and everyone really enjoys them.

  56. F T

It’s better than the one I had previously

  57. Wendell B.

Bought this to attract hummingbirds. Friends have one and the Rufous hummingbirds love it. Anna’s not so much.

  60. Jeff BedrickJeff Bedrick

I was skeptical but figured it was worth the gamble for the reasonable price, and man, this thing works great. Produces a steady stream about 16 in as long as the sun is hitting it. The birds love it.

  61. Carol Nepsey

Very easy to install, lots of fountain choices. It does need full sunlight. If partial sunlight, it spouts intermittently.

  62. Vic & Paula

Amazing little fountain. Pretty, easy to install.

  63. Kathryn Lewis

I liked how fast and easy it was.

  64. Elena Paxton

    Love how it works

I’ve written several reviews for this product because I buy one or two every few years when an old one conks out or a friend admires one and I gift them one. Keep the water full and the filter clean, and they’ll last years. My “fountains” are big old dog dishes. I put them on the patio so they are low enough for animals. All kinds of critters use these dishes – a huge variety of birds, squirrels, possums, and in addition to these, neighborhood cats and dogs use the one in the front yard. The bubbling prevents mosquitoes from breeding. An occasional squirt of hydrogen peroxide keeps the algae down.I wish I could but just the fountain unit and none of the little plastic crap that comes with it. My fountains are too small to use any of the nozzles; they’d empty the bowl out in an hour! And I certainly don’t need the new junk they’ve added – plastic sticks to keep the fountain of the edges of your container. Really, people? Use some rocks.

The fountain is the perfect size for a bird bath. It works even when cloudy which our previous, more expensive fountain did not. It’s a great value by itself and it includes several different sprayers and base pieces to keep it centered. I would recommend it to anyone with a small pond or bird bath.

  72. Mary Lou Schiers

ordered for a birthday gift for friend, she will love it, I have 3 or four and she loves them and really wanted one. Thank you so much

Works great in my small pot fountain, carefully select the right nozzle to keep water in, and it’s solar… so it needs sun to work. Mine has been going great for a couple of months now, really pleased with it.

After just a few days, I’m impressed with how well this solar powered fountain pumps water. My only comment is the fountain needs to be in a pool of water several times the diameter of the fountain. I initially put the fountain in a gallon bucket of water. The next morning, I noticed the bucket was virtually empty and couldn’t figure where the water went. So I refilled the bucket, but then my wife noticed any little breeze would blow the fountain water out of the bucket, so I tried a larger bucket (a Home Depot “Homer” bucket), but same result. Yesterday, I bought a larger 16 inch diameter tray (actually an animal feeding tray from Tractor Supply) and I expect it should work much better.

I put this little device in my birdbath and as soon as the sun hit it, it sprayed way up and was delightful. The different nozzles made it more interesting for the children, the birds and me! So, so easy to put together without cumbersome wires or batteries.

  83. Diane Seamans

    Easy to install. Solar.

Bought for my mum, she LOVED it

  85. judy marcus

worked fine, had to place rocks to keep in center of birdbath

Using it in our bird bath. Like the various tips – each one has its pros and cons. Make sure to keep the filter clean.

  87. Anita F.

Has sporadic spray not full on fountain spray but it still is a cute small fountain.

  88. Bill

Birds love it.moving water attracts them. Make sure it doesn’t spray so far that it lands outside the bath or you’ll be refilling often. I cut a pattern riser in half…works perfectly

I use this fountain in my bird baths and they bathe in it regularly. If it starts to slow down, it’s from the residue left by birds and nature. So I put my hose on power wash and run it over the pump and the sprinkler head.

It’s s beautiful addition to my garden works nice. Because of this little thing I have a beautiful fountain in my garden.

This little Gadget surpassed my greatest expectations! I don’t understand all the people complaining about having to keep refilling their bird bath with water. For one, strong wind will blow the water out over the edge. It doesn’t have to shift or slide to for that to happen. Which, on that note, I didn’t have any shifting or sliding with mine. Also if you’re using it in the summer with sun and heat, the water will evaporate. So, of course you have to refill it. I took a video which I couldn’t figure out how to upload so I screenshot pictures of the video. You may not be able to see it but my Fountain is placed squarely in the middle of my bird bath. The 4 extension rods perfectly keep it there. However, when there strong breeze blows the water out and over the edge of the birdbath which may account for losing lots of the water. You may notice in a couple of the pictures, the water spraying off to the side. That was when the wind would blow. And I would lose some of the water over the edge. This had nothing to do with the fountain itself and can’t be helped. Also, I don’t know how big other folk’s bird baths are for people who say their fountain floats off to the side but once I attached the 4 plastic straw like extension pieces, like I said, my mind remained centered. Overall I love this water fountain Gadget. In these pictures I used the filter that made the water shoot up the highest. I decided later I wanted to change it and when I took it off rrealized it works perfectly without any filter attached! It creates the most adorable little bubbling gurgling kind of fountain effect. With that you don’t have to worry about the breeze blowing the water over the edge. I decided to keep it that way for a while until I feel like changing it. It is now December and I bought this in the early fall. I was so worried when one day not long ago it got really cold and the water froze in the bird bath. I thought for sure, after that it would be broken but later when the sun came out and melted the ice it was back to bubbling and being adorable again! As far as I’m concerned I’ve already gotten my money’s worth. Just get it. And it’s also so relaxing to look at.

I put it out in a bird bath for birds. It works perfectly! I opened the box, put it in a tub of water, in the sun! It works perfectly 👌

Our bowl is a little small and water spills over. Need a bigger bowl to work properly.

This is a great product for the money. It’s a beautiful addition to my birdbath. Just a side note: I can’t keep water in my birdbath because the water either shoots out or is blown out by the wind. I’m not sure which, just that I can fill the birdbath in the morning and by late afternoon, there is no water in the birdbath.

Assembly & installation could not be simpler and it works instantly. I’ve bought 2 of them. Unfortunately, as the breeze picks up water from the fountain is blown away and soon the bird bath in nearly empty. In an effort to decrease the amount of water being sprayed upwards and out I’ve placed electric tape over two of the solar array spots each 180 degrees opposite each other. Thus far that seems to work, the spray is not nearly as high and water is remaining in the bird bath. In a larger bird bath or pool this would not be an issue. The OD of my bird bath is 20″ with a bath diameter of ~ 18″.

This version comes with legs that stabilize the fountain in the bird bath. The previous pump we had just floated around and spewed water out of the bath. Great improvement.

I ordered one for me and one for my favorite Aunt (84). Once I gave it to her, she wanted another one and then later asked me to order her another one to give to her neighbor to!

I love these. They make great little floating fountains. Easy you use, last long time and it is amazing how high the water can go up from the spout.

Very very simple to use and when the sun is high in the sky it’s actually pretty impressive but there is no “charging” when there isn’t sun it isn’t working because it’s not rechargeable but as I said I’m very impressed by what it does

  104. Chris Ewing

    Really nice love it

  105. Sheila

The product was great the power was all there … the only thing is it needs to have a better way to have it be still in the water other than that over joy with the fountain…

  106. Timothy G Bouras

I like this product because all I did was put it together, put it in the bird bath. It has quite a few of different different shower nozzles. Highly recommended.

This little thing is great value for what I paid for it! It is very sensitive to sunlight so if it’s overcast it will attempt to fountain the water in little spurts. The plastic arms are not the most stabilizing, at least not for the size of my bird bath. However it does help prevent it from floating around as much as it does without those arms (I tried without, it spins all over the place). Overall I’m very content with this!

Fun and relaxing to watch. If wind is blowing, must add water. Take out of sun when not watching, otherwise will continue to try pumping water (when bowl is dry)

  118. Susan Datz

works very well just as expected. need a wide base to put it in because the water goes out as the waterpumps
